Author-ity 2006 Use Conditions

We are pleased to give you non-exclusive rights to use the Author-ity 2006 dataset under the following conditions:
  1. The dataset will not be distributed, in part or whole, to others and security measures will be taken to prevent such distribution (e.g., limiting access to network-based query interfaces, and password-protecting access to local storage devices).
  2. The dataset will be used exclusively for non-profit academic research, and not, e.g., for administrative tasks or decision making. Any use that goes beyond non-profit academic research will need to involve negotiations and licensing with The University of Illinois at Chicago, who holds the intellectual property rights to Author-ity.
  3. If any derivative data or tools are developed, you will notify us and they will be made available, in a manner consistent with condition 1 above, for non-profit academic research at no charge.
  4. Any resulting publications should cite Torvik et al. (2005) and Torvik and Smalheiser (2009).
